U.S. design firm, Wilson Associates, announced that the firm has two new projects in Asia. The first is the Hilton Jinan South Hotel & Residences in Jinan, China. The second is the Skye Niseko in Hirafu, Japan.
The multi-level Hilton Jinan South Hotel & Residences in Jinan, China was completed in Sept. 2016 and is the first international hotel in Jinan South. An urban hotel near the center of the city, it features stunning panoramic views of the mountains, springs and greenery that surround the area. The design pays homage to the city’s renowned natural springs with incorporated aquatic touches throughout.
The luxury accommodations are highlighted with original artwork and modern architecture. The hotel is specifically designed with aesthetically pleasing open spaces and decorative touches that enhance the feeling of openness. Individuals enjoy distinctive culinary opportunities and technological advances are built into the entire structure for a superior guest experience.
The luxury hotel and residences has a total of 420 rooms – 104 two- and three-bedroom suites in the residence tower and 316 guest rooms in the hotel. Recreational facilities include a 24-hour fitness center, steam rooms and sauna, along with a swimming pool. Those in the executive suite are served complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, happy hour canapes, and evening cocktails. Guest residents enjoy a separate fitness center and reception area.
Ten multi-functional meeting rooms, onsite secretarial and business services are optimized for business clients. A 1,000-ft. terrace garden and grand ballroom can be organized for a wide range of personal or business events. The hotel’s YUXI restaurant on level 39 and 40 is the highest in the city and its JI Lounge on level 35 is the highest bar with breath-taking views.
The Skye Niseko in Hirafu, Japan marks the first privately owned hotel-condominium project located within Hokkaido National Park for a truly exclusive experience. It features a collection of 105 luxury apartments and penthouses, with a scheduled completion date of Oct. 2018.
Skye Niseko is being designed with a philosophy of less-is-more for inspired interior spaces that provide a clean, streamlined and luxurious Japanese design. An extensive array of modern amenities is combined with contemporary interiors to create an elite experience for residents and guests.
Summit Properties and Wilson Associates are working together on the design of the project’s penthouse and common areas, and in cooperation with Pike Withers of Sydney to create luxury interiors for the other accommodations.
